Dr. Alisa Naiman is the Founder and Medical Director of The Medical Station and holds a degree in Family Medicine from the University of Toronto.
For the past ten years, Dr. Naiman has provided comprehensive primary care for her patients in various health care settings, including community health care centres, walk-in clinics, home visits, and family health organizations.
Dr. Naiman has completed a Masters of Health Science in Community Health and Epidemiology. Following her Family Medicine training, she completed an Academic Research Fellowship in the Department of Family and Community Medicine.
She has also been a Strategic Training Fellow in Interdisciplinary Primary Health Care Research, Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR).
An expert in her field, Dr. Naiman has appeared in the Toronto Star, National Post, Globe & Mail, on CNN International, Global TV, CBC and various radio stations across Canada.
She is the Co-resident Research Coordinator at Toronto East General Hospital and has lectured at the department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto.
When Dr. Naiman is not caring for her patients and clients, she enjoys playing soccer, cycling, or spending time with her family and friends.
